Exploring Middleport: Mapping and Concept Art Session Recap
Last week, our Discover Middleport session delved into the fascinating world of Mapping and Concept Art, aiming to uncover the untold stories and rich history of the Middleport area. Although the turnout was smaller than expected, the session brought a delightful surprise as Sue, an expert in Mapping, graced us with her presence. Sue's valuable insights and expertise added a new dimension to our exploration as be build a 3D Version of Middleport and the surrounding areas.
Sue’s specialization in Mapping proved to be an asset as she shared invaluable knowledge, offering robust support in our endeavor to map the area accurately. Her contributions were instrumental in guiding us towards a deeper understanding how we can better map the geography and history of Middleport.
Mapping, as we've come to understand, isn't solely about delineating physical locations; it's an avenue to unravel the narratives that lie beneath the surface. It's about collecting stories, anecdotes, and historical accounts that shape the identity of Middleport. These narratives often reveal hidden nuances and intricacies that may not be immediately evident to the eye.
However, our quest for knowledge and information about Middleport and its surroundings is far from over. We are keen on gathering more insights, especially through collaborative efforts with the community. If you possess any captivating maps of the Middleport area, personal stories, or pictures that shed light on the region's past or present, we wholeheartedly encourage you to share them with us. Your contributions will play an integral role in enriching our understanding of this vibrant area and could impact the project and the 3D Middleport as we build it.
