That’s where DigitAll comes in.

Created by the brilliant minds at Wavemaker, DigitAll is a growing suite of free courses for people in Stoke-on-Trent ( designed to boost digital confidence and creative skills across Staffordshire. And behind the scenes, we at Carse & Waterman were proud to help shape six of those courses — using our expertise in video and interactive media to make the learning experience as accessible, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable as possible.

These aren’t dry PowerPoints or talking-head lectures. This is education that moves, speaks clearly, and meets learners where they are.

Here’s what we helped create:

🎮 Coding for Beginners: Create Your First Game

We brought coding to life with interactive videos and clear, bite-sized steps that guide learners through building their very first game. It’s a hands-on approach that demystifies programming and builds confidence through creation.

🧠 Exploring AI: Tools for Creativity and Problem-Solving

This course shows that AI isn’t just for data scientists — it’s a creative tool anyone can explore. From text generation to visual experimentation, we helped make AI feel approachable and full of potential, not complexity.

Using video to teach video? You bet. We designed content that walks learners through editing basics with clarity and visual storytelling in mind — building practical skills that can be applied instantly.

🎨 Animation & Motion Graphics for Beginners

For this course, we kept it simple and intuitive — helping learners dip their toes into animation and motion design with easy-to-follow lessons and tools anyone can use, no matter their background.

📱 Digital Design Basics: Graphics and Social Media Content

Visual communication is key in today’s digital world. We helped learners understand the principles behind eye-catching, effective design through engaging explainer videos and real-world examples.

🔮 Introduction to Emerging Technologies

From AI and blockchain to XR and smart devices, this course offers a guided tour of tomorrow’s tech — grounded in clarity, context, and bite-sized insights that make big ideas feel manageable.
